Enhanced Chassis & Suspension

The RC8T4.2 features redesigned molded front and rear suspension arms for increased durability while maintaining a modern appearance. Molded height-adjustable front and rear gearboxes pair with updated shock towers to provide additional body mount height positions and expanded setup possibilities. A revised minus four-millimeter chassis, molded top plate, and improved chassis bracing options enhance rigidity and create a stable platform capable of handling aggressive racing conditions.

Precision Steering & Drivetrain

A revised 16° KPI steering block with updated bump steer geometry delivers more precise steering response and improved cornering consistency. The high-volume center differential helps distribute power efficiently, while the included 40/9 ring and pinion gear sets, 131-millimeter universal driveshafts with 17-millimeter outdrives, and both 19-millimeter and 20-millimeter HTC internal differential gear sets provide a durable drivetrain ready for demanding nitro racing applications.

Race-Ready Performance Features

Designed with competitive racers in mind, the RC8T4.2 includes a high-downforce rear wing to increase stability at speed and through technical sections. Factory Team hard-anodized aluminum shock bushings improve suspension durability, while updated brake pad material and brake springs deliver more consistent braking performance. Bladder and emulsion-style shock seals, along with Factory Team hexes and grooved pins, provide additional tuning flexibility to suit a wide variety of track conditions.
